Honest Fox Comedy Fest 2025

MIKE GOODWIN
Mike Goodwin is a refreshingly funny comedian, keynote speaker, and content delivery coach. His signature bowtie represents his expectation-defying brand of comedy that leaves a variety of audiences— from churches to corporate events to swanky galas—laughing hysterically and completely inspired, without a foul or vulgar word spoken. A native of Camden, South Carolina, Mike holds a master’s degree in Education from the University of South Carolina, is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a former primary and secondary education professional. He infuses his varied life experiences into his act, making him relatable to audiences from all walks of life. Mike Goodwin can be seen on Dry Bar Comedy, America’s Got Talent, TEDx, and on his national comedy show The Big Dad Energy Tour.

KAREN MILLS
Karen Mills has made a career out of making people laugh. She got her start thirty years ago at The Punchline in Atlanta and has since performed numerous times on the Grand Ole Opry. Karen is currently on a 100-city tour with Leanne Morgan and was featured in a showcase produced by Nate Bargatze. Karen can be heard regularly on Sirius/XM comedy channels, and clips from her Dry Bar comedy special Baby Got Bad Back have garnered over 30 million views. This self-proclaimed “crazy dog lady” has a straightforward approach to the realities of life. Her smart, funny, keen observations will keep you laughing as you relate to her experiences. Even ovarian cancer couldn’t stop her from turning pain into punchlines. Diagnosed in 2013 after a routine checkup, Karen took on the disease with hope and humor. In 2016, she presented her talk, Cancer is a Laughing Matter, at TEDxChattanooga. Karen stands at 5'2" and, despite being told more than once she was too short for basketball, led the nation in assists in 1981 and became the first Division 1 first-team All-American in UT Chattanooga’s history. Her #12 uniform was retired, and in 1981, she was inducted into Chattanooga’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

DUSTIN NICKERSON
A Seattle native now suffering in Southern California, Dustin Nickerson is an in-demand comic on the rise. In 2020, he released his debut comedy special Overwhelmed, which is currently one of the highest-rated specials on Amazon Prime Video. He’s been featured on Comedy Central and Netflix by Kevin Hart, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Fox, Hulu, and can regularly be heard on Sirius Radio XM. Online, his stand-up clips and jokes have received tens of millions of views, and his podcast, Don’t Make Me Come Back There, has over a million downloads. He’s also the author of How to be Married to Melissa, an Amazon #1 New Release published by Harper Collins in June 2022. Dustin describes himself as “the world’s most average person” but is far from it on stage, where he brings audiences into his life with jokes about the struggles of parenting, marriage, and the annoyance of everyday people. At 38, Dustin has been married for 18 years and has three kids, making him one of the most unique voices in the comedy scene.

STEVEN ROGERS
Originally from Syracuse, NY, Steven Rogers is a comedian based in NYC who has been making people laugh for most of his life. Performing in clubs and theaters across the country, Steven has opened for comedians like Brian Regan, Joe List, Tom Papa, Nate Bargatze, and Taylor Tomlinson. His clever, rapid-fire material—filled with observations about his life and the world around him—has led to appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Dry Bar Comedy. His debut album/special, Before He Was Super, quickly hit #1 on iTunes and was named one of Paste’s Top 12 Best Comedy Albums of 2022 and one of Vanyaland’s Favorite Comedy Releases of 2022. It can also be heard regularly on Sirius Radio. When not touring North America, Rogers is a regular at clubs throughout New York City.

ALEX VELLUTO
Alex Velluto is quickly making a name for himself in comedy, recently featured on Nate Bargatze’s stand-up series, The Showcase, where he was handpicked by Bargatze himself. He stands alone as the only comedian to have performed in three Dry Bar Comedy specials, including his latest, The Big Gulp Kid, now available on YouTube. His specials have earned him millions of online views and thousands of fans, including a follow from the official 7-Eleven Instagram account. Alex and 7-Eleven have since become best friends. His talents have taken him to the iconic Grand Ole Opry, a venue known for showcasing the best in entertainment. As one of the few selected Dry Bar Comedians to tour on the Dry Bar Comedy Tour, he’s performed on nearly every show in hundreds of cities across the country, connecting with audiences of all backgrounds and ages. Additionally, he’s been a guest on Stand Up Nashville on the Circle Network and has appeared on Peacock TV.

JONNIE W.
In a world where more and more people are choosing to stay home and binge-watch their entertainment, Jonnie W. represents an anomaly—an artist whose show needs to be experienced LIVE. Combining music, off-beat stand-up, and a skewed view of the world, Jonnie crafts a comedy experience that you and your family will be quoting on the way home. He’s brought the funny to stages in 48 states—from comedy clubs to Fortune 500 companies, churches, and leadership conferences. Jonnie's award-winning comedy is played daily on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and his two Drybar Comedy specials are viral hits, garnering millions of views and landing him in their Top Ten most viewed for 2021. He has also been featured on the Grand Ole Opry’s Circle Network and is heard daily on Sirius Satellite Radio. Jonnie lives with his wife Curry near Nashville, TN, because that’s where all their stuff is.
